Hand made Copper Trolling Board (size large) with 45 lb copper line.  Tried and true old-timer method for trolling deep.  This is the most affordable and effective way to get down deep where the big fish live.  The copper line has a #1 Barrel Swivel every 75'.  This helps with determining how much line you have out and it helps prevent any twists in the copper line.  At the end of the copper line is a #1 Barrel Swivel with Safety Snap. The copper line is 300' of 7 Strand "45 lb" Copper Trolling Line. The 45 lb line sinks approx. 9' for every 10 yards. That means 300' of 45 lb would be around 90' depending on trolling speed & weight/size of bait. Diameter: 45 lb=.037.

The large sized board is designed so that one wrap of line is approximately one foot of depth.  This makes it much easier and more accurate in getting to the correct depth of the fish.
